012515-ap-sag-winner-kevinspacey-imgNew York – Considerati come un attendibile termometro per le candidature degli Oscar, gli Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) sono premi che vengono consegnati ogni anno dallo Screen Actors Guild come riconoscimento per le migliori interpretazioni degli attori membri della stessa associazione.

Il sindacato più grande di categoria, nato nel 1933, conta al giorno d’oggi oltre 150 mila iscritti tra attori di cinema e televisione. Datata 1995 invece, la prima edizione dei premi.
Le nomination sono stabilite da 4.200 membri dell’associazione, scelti casualmente ogni anno, mentre i vincitori sono votati da tutti i membri.
